Description
The Commander X16 Developer Edition was designed to fit in a standard low-profile MicroATX case. However, it fits in standard full-height ATX cases and will work with most standard ATX power supplies as well. If you already have a case, but still need a power supply, this module will work great for the Developer Edition. You will need a standard 12V AC adapter with a 5.5mm outer / 2.5mm inner diameter barrel jack connector. We recommend a 3amp supply which is more than enough power for the system and peripherals you may use.

*Note, if you use your own power supply, please ensure it provides +5V, +12V and -12V. Some modern supplies for PCIe only systems do not provide -12V and it is required for the X16. Both 20 and 24 pin ATX power supplies will work correctly with the system. We recommend using the lowest wattage ATX supply you have access to. The system only consumes 3 to 5 watts.
