Description
The first handy item in this 3D printed set is the Ultimate DIP Bender IC Lead Straightener designed by TubeTime! This all-in-one IC lead straightener does both 0.3″ (narrow) and 0.6″ (wide) DIP ICs. It works great for getting those IC legs in place before installation. Great for assisting in the Commander X16 build or many other projects where you may need to straighten IC leads. It is lightweight and fits nicely in the hand.
The second is this sturdy little lead bender we remixed from another remix on Thingiverse. It is a perfectly sized leg bender for the Commander X16 build because it has the appropriate range of sizes for all the axial components like resistors, diodes, etc. you will need. Just lay it on the corresponding footprint on the PCB to find the correct size.
