Description
This card is only meant to be used with the Commander X16 Dual MIDI / Wavetable card. The MIDI card has a female DB9 port on the rear of the card which this module is designed to be used with. This breakout board was designed to be a bit more flexible and reliable than the dongles for serious MIDI use. It has 2 MIDI Inputs and MIDI Outputs to allow 32 channels of MIDI control to multiple external devices. The internal MIDI wavetable may be used simultaneously. Just be sure to map your channels accordingly!
The board comes with the needed db9 straight-through cable to connect to the MIDI card. You will only need the MIDI cables to connect your instrument to the standard 5-pin DIN ports on the board and you’re ready to multi-track!
